We are the heroes of our own storyโฆ so make yours exquisite! This captivating print is a blend of the classic and the fanciful (just like all good stories), and was created using art spanning more than three centuries. We layered two stunning 18th century ink-on-silk hanging scrolls from Japan painted with wild plum blossoms, peach trees, magpies, and a luminous moon to create this design, then added other whimsical elements โ including antique illustrations of wild deer, birds, and cranes. The printed trim comes from French silk embroidery fragments from the early 1800โs, and the charming pattern on the sleeves is a replica of block-printed French paper from the same era.ย
100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as wood and bamboo). Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.
