Our Dreamweaver design features an iconic 1896 zodiac illustration by beloved Art Nouveau artist Alphonse Mucha, depicting a woman majestically surrounded by the by the 12 zodiac signs and adorned with intricate celestial jewellery. The background of this beautiful piece comes from a floral ink-on-silk scroll painting by Ueno Setsugaku, created in the 1860โs. To add even more detail to this design, we embellished the womanโs remarkable crown with a shining star, and trimmed everything with Muchaโs zodiac signs on a deep burgundy background. The result is an opulent and elegant take on Muchaโs work, with a nod to the luxe bohemianism of the 1970โs
Crafted from soft viscose, the fabric is a lighter, airier weight than our kimonos, with the same beautifully soft feel. They make a wonderful gift too!
