Join the Celebration
This year marks a special milestone for us - 30 years since we first opened our doors and 5 years under new ownership. To celebrate, we're hosting our second annual Tattoo Experience Fashion Show on May 18th at Century Plaza. The fun doesn't stop there - join us for an after party at Txtur in Fire Station 1 for drinks, music, and more!
What's the Deal?
Have you ever thought about tattoos as a form of fashion? Well, we at La De Da certainly have! We have always been big supporters of local art, and now we are taking it to a whole new level. Imagine a runway show where local artists and tattoo studios come together to transform pieces of clothing into one-of-a-kind works of art.
This event is all about creativity and collaboration. Artists will be taking items from the sales floor and giving them a makeover using techniques typically reserved for tattooing. From intricate designs to bold statements, each piece will be a unique fusion of fashion and art.
Not only will you get to witness these incredible transformations on the runway, but you'll also have the opportunity to purchase these wearable masterpieces after the show. Talk about a statement piece for your wardrobe!
We'll also be featuring local artists on the scene selling their creations, grub and drinks to keep you fueled, a banging DJ, and a whole lot more.
Whether you're a tattoo enthusiast, a fashion lover, or just looking for a unique night out, this event is not to be missed. Come support local artists, discover new styles, and celebrate with us in style!
Why a Phoenix?
The phoenix symbolizes rebirth, renewal, and transformation. It's a powerful reminder that even in the face of challenges, we can emerge stronger and more resilient. Just like the phoenix, we have embraced change and uncertainty, using it as fuel to propel us forward.
Turning Art into Inspiration
"I thought it would be great to use this painting by Toobz Muir, as both an inspiration and celebration. The image will be on merchandise, serving as a reminder of our journey and the strength we have gained along the way. It's a symbol of our resilience and our ability to rise above any obstacles that come our way."
