Embracing Inclusivity - Disability Pride Month & Beyond: Our Ongoing Partnership with The HUB

As we bid farewell to July, we at La De Da want to reflect on a month filled with celebration, inclusivity, and community spirit. While today marks the end of Disability Pride Month, we believe that the values of inclusivity, awareness, and acceptance should be embraced every day of the year.

This month, we were once again honored to partner with our friends at SVH Services’ The HUB. The HUB is an organization dedicated to breaking down barriers and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to engage fully in their community. Their mission aligns perfectly with our belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with some incredible models from The HUB who truly brought our collections to life. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Donna, Danielle, and Garrett for rocking our Fantastical Frocks with such style and enthusiasm. Your energy and spirit embody everything we stand for at La De Da. We also want to shout out Nahzhay, Andrew, and Michael, who were absolute stars in our La De Dude collection. You brought smiles to our faces and reminded us why inclusivity is at the heart of what we do.

Disability Pride Month is about more than just celebrating the history, achievements, and experiences of the disability community. It’s about recognizing the importance of creating spaces where everyone can thrive without barriers. As Emma Beard, Program Manager at The HUB, so beautifully stated, "As adults, we all should have the same opportunities to engage in our community without barriers." This sentiment is one we carry with us every day at La De Da, as we strive to make our boutique a place of inclusivity and joy.
