This satin black-plated, solid bronze, pendant is cast from an intaglio from the 4th century BCE. accented with double strands of lapis lazuli. Length at 18", finished with iconic lock charm. The piece is inspired by the female, Egyptian Pharaoh Hatshepsut of the 5th pharaoh of the 18th dynasty. She wore the beard of a male Pharaoh and altered her image to be more masculine. She was the most prolific builder in Egyptian history. Available in bronze as well.
